The idea for KLIN began in 2016. Founder Sunet Klahan owned a spa in Solana Beach, California, and she wanted to provide her clientele with a luxury product using the knowledge she learned from her Mother. Jasmine Rice, Coconut, Beeswax, Star Fruit, Mango, Citrus, Pineapple and more, became candidates for our products. After sharing wishful thoughts with her clientele, they dutifully encouraged Sunet to pursue her dream and lucky for us, she arranged to meet an award-winning Thai Natural Botanical Chemist, and the result comes to us now as KLIN Scents of Life, Luxury Spa Products.

Sunet’s story is genuine and her products are authentic. Sunet knows rice very well from when she was younger. Sunet’s Mom used rice for many reasons: water from the uncooked rice wash hair, rice and rice noodles made and eaten, rice powder to make skin soft and bright.

When Sunet was younger, she was a Farmer. Everyone in the family had a farm animal at home that was their pet; Pig, Chicken, Duck or other favorites. Every animal and pet loved to eat the rice husk and if lucky, was given some of the rice, too!

Thailand has the world’s highest quality Jasmine Rice. Kings of past helped Farmers make a better quality Jasmine Rice and it has always benefited the Villagers. KLIN is made in Thailand and supports the people in the villages and farms where Sunet grew up.

Sunet is a Spa Owner who has studied Thai Natural-Lift on Face and Body. The treatments feature Jade Gua Sha and Thanaka Tree Powder Mask. Skin looks radiant, healthy and beautiful afterwards.

My name is Sunet Klahan, and I am the founder & owner of KLIN, natural-grown spa products from Thailand. I was also the owner of Thai Massage and Day Spa in Solana Beach, California, where I was inspired and encouraged by my clientele to develop the KLIN luxury spa product line.

Growing up as a Farmer in Thailand, my Mother used Jasmine Rice for multiple purposes. When I was young, my mother cooked water and rice to put on my skin to make my skin soft, and she used rice water in my hair which made it clean and shiny. This was a welcome relief after working on the farm all day. During harvest, all the Villagers smelled of wonderful Jasmine Rice.

There were also thousands of coconuts, which we used the oil from to clean teeth, moisturize skin and detoxify our bodies. My Mother also taught me how to make lip balm. Honeycomb was gathered from the bees in the tropical forest, then we squeezed the honey out and used the wax and coconut oil. Beeswax Coconut Oil Balm makes lips very soft.

KLIN products began after I met a world renowned, award-winning Chemist. I spoke with the Chemist about my dream to create exceptional products made from Jasmine Rice, and thus the KLIN luxury spa product line was created! We perfected the creams while adhering to the original qualities and effectiveness of my Mother’s remedies in Thailand, and now KLIN products are available for everyone who wants to feel luxurious, supple and healthy skin.

“Klin” is the Thai word for “smell” and “KL” are letters from my last name. I used this word because I want to honor and share the knowledge and skills of my Mom. When you smell KLIN products, I am sure you will understand why.

Tanee Sangrat, Thailand former general consulate to Los Angeles, United States, and now Thailand ambassador to Vietnam, has said, “ . . . Thailand is the number one exporter of rice, and jasmine rice from Thailand is the number one quality in the world.” Being from Thailand and having jasmine rice products, I am so proud to now share them with all of you!

Most spa products in the USA are difficult to rinse off due to unnatural oils, added sugar or salt beads, and particularly products used to scrub your skin, especially in a spa. However, KLIN Jasmine Rice Scrub is easy and convenient to use and remove. Use a damp towel to wipe off after gently applying with circular motions. Beads from the rice are mostly absorbed by the skin, unlike lower quality sugar and salt scrubs.

I am so happy and honored to share my product with everyone because it is safe for everyone, and the smell is therapeutic and relaxing.
